An eclectic mix of collagraph prints and ceramics resulting in an enthusiastic collection of work that is fresh and contemporary.
This body of work is created by four artists who trained at Bath Spa University and have since come together to exhibit on many occasions.
Cath Bloomfield has experience in sculpture and a degree in ceramics and now works in printmaking. She uses her 3D experience to explore surface pattern and form.
Belinda Brownlee uses plaster moulds to create her unique pots which are decorated with coloured slips. She has also developed great skill with her computer generated designs which transfer to her ceramic surfaces and which she also used for her textile designs.
Alison Potter makes quirky figurative characters often reflecting on humour and everyday life. Her work is highly sought after and she specialises in making commissioned pieces that replicate real life people, as special gifts.
Linda Bristow is inspired by the wild Dorset countryside and creates uniquely crafted sculptures that reflect the fragility and diversity of wild meadow flowers in particular. Some pieces are small and intimate, others large and flamboyant.
