Workshop to rent

Do you know anyone who might be interested in renting a pottery workshop (The Pot Place http://www.valleyviewhq.co.uk/the-pot-place/) in Uplyme? It was set up by Frances Hillier, who died at the beginning of January, with a kiln, sink, plenty of shelving and workspace, and room for courses/sessions for 6-8 people. Jill Swainson is looking for a potter who would want to use the workshop independently and also be available to offer sessions for guests staying in the holiday let (which has proved very popular). With a busy holiday-letting season coming up, she is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
Should anyone be interested, please either email her at jillswainsonphotography@gmail.com or ring on 07802 539752 for further details.

Studio wanted

Justin Clark says: “Hello, I live in Uplyme and I’m looking to rent studio space in Lyme Regis, for painting, drawing, and some multi-media computer work, so hopefully with some kind of access to wifi.
Does anyone know of any space that may be available now or may become available soon?
Many thanks in advance, art@jusy.com

The new TMA web site

I’ve been working hard to upload member pages and details for everyone on the new web site: I hope you think it’s an improvement on the rather tired old one. There are still some features to add and kinks to iron out, but we can’t wait for ever!

From the 25th, there are new login details to access the site: the username is still artist, but the password has been changed to MillWheel2015. The way the site works has been changed quite a lot to make it more flexible, but I will upload a new document to the members’ area that explains how to update your artist’s page.

Please can I urge everyone who hasn’t already done so to email me a short text bio and at least one featured image at least 1000 pixels wide – then I can finish the artist pages and you will get some extra publicity.

And finally:
This email is going out to everyone that I have been told has paid their subs. If you know anyone who hasn’t (re)joined, please forward them a copy as a hint!
